Charter Transition

Transitioning your Scouting Unit to a new Chartered Organization can feel like a daunting task. Do not fear, Council and District will help as much as you want. We are here to make this as painless as possible. The following documents can be found below:

• Release/Assumption of Unit Charter

  • • • This is the transfer document to move a Scouting Unit between Chartering Organizations.

• Annual Unit Charter Agreement

  • • • This is the Charter itself.

• BSA Adult Application

  • • • Standard Application available for assignment of the Chartered Organization Representative (which will be assigned to you)

• New Unit Application

  • • • For any event where a New Unit needs to be established.
